Lewis Hamilton and his No. 44 Mercedes secured an easy victory at the Formula One F1 2015 Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi Autodrom in Russia. This is Hamiltons 9th win of the 2015 season, 42nd of his career which ties him with Sebastian Vettel for third on the all-time list. It was also his 83rd podium of his Formula One F1 career which is third on the all-time list. Hamilton now leads the point’s championship by 73 points over Rosberg. For Mercedes, it was the team’s twelfth win of the 2015 Formula One F1 season.
Grabbing second was Sebastian Vettel and his No. 5 Ferrari. For Vettel, it is his 11th of the season and 77th career podium just two behind Kimi Raikkonen on the all-time list.
Hamilton’s 48 point lead in the championship has now risen to 73 with four Grand Prix to go, a total of 100 points is available.
