This could be the ASX replacement and alongside traditional petrol and diesel versions, there will be a plug-in hybrid model. Mitsubishi insiders have hinted that this concept will preview new automated driving, connected car, and active safety systems.
Like the Mitsubishi Outlander, the new ASX will also be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Unlike the Outlander, the ASX will not need four-wheel drive, so will be able to use just one electric motor, making it more affordable. The electric version will have a range of around 250 miles if all goes as planned.
