After its initial unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show, pictures of the all-electric e-tron quattro concept from Audi recently surfaced. Audi has been hinting at releasing an electric vehicle by 2018 and given how hungry the market is for SUVs and crossovers, this concept could end up being a viable candidate for production.
The batteries used in the concept are developed by LG Chem and Samsung SDI. In all likelihood the range of the final vehicle will be over 500 kilometres on a full charge.
Most of the stats are speculative at this point, but we have to say that the concept vehicle is quite stunning to behold. It’s nice to see that Audi has pulled itself out of the corner it seemed to be stuck in before. The vehicle looks like a proper revolution in terms of design language and perhaps more of step in the right direction than the Prologue concept.
