Earlier today, Mazda dropped this teaser image. It shows the upper silhouette of of their upcoming sports car, which will be unveiled at the end of October during the Tokyo Motor Show. Although Kodo has always been about long hoods, steep windscreens and sloped roofs, but this is the first time the sporty-coupe design language will be applied to an actual sports coupe.
Mazda say that this car will represent “Mazda’s entire history of sports car development into a single model.” Could that mean a SkyActiv-G Wankel engine? We sure hope so. On the model, we see a dual exhaust system and rearview cameras in place of side mirrors. How modern!
