For the awards this year, Effective Measure – a private digital audience measurement, research and data analytics company, partnered up with the Putra Brand Awards 2015 to ensure consumers have a better understanding of the different brands in the market. The winners were chosen based on surveys from consumers’ response to an online questionnaire with a respondent base of at least 6,000 across the different categories and is based on anonymity.
The awards, which is in its sixth year, recognises brand building as a fundamental business investment as measured by consumer preference. It is also the only brand awards in the country endorsed by MATRADE and by the Branding Association of Malaysia (BAM), the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), and the Media Specialists Association (MSA).
Commenting further on the award won, Ahmed said, “The brand is well known for its Caltex with Techron® fuel, including Premium 95 with Techron, Premium 97 with Techron, Caltex Diesel with Techron D® and Caltex Diesel (Bio) with Techron D, which provides cleaning capabilities with five key benefits. Chevron also markets Delo® and Havoline® lubricants and coolants through a network of distributors.”
