Audi’s finally making the push for hybrid technology, using their own e-tron naming convention. In the last few months they’ve shown commitment to their plug-in hybrid movement, first with the A3 Sportback and then with the Q7 which will be released in due time. And what better way to celebrate their new brainchild than with a short film documenting it’s travels through Morocco.
The film shows the car making it’s way through the varied landscape of Morocco, from the small towns and populated areas, out through the desert and across streams and luscious plains- eventually making a stop at a solar farm. For countries with very little cloud cover and a lot of cheap, flat, open land, solar power is the best option for renewable energy.
It’s a nice alternative to constantly seeing news of the RS3 Sportback. Don’t get us wrong, the RS3 is still an extremely desirable car, but it’s nice to see manufacturers taking on a different challenge and adopting a different kind of mindset and attitude.
