Just as anticipated, Porsche have released a bunch of official pictures that reveal the facelifted 911 online. The pictures show the updated 991 with just a little bit of camouflage primarily masking the Porsche emblems. It’s safe to say that there’s still room for a FULL, full reveal.
In fact, the photos from the South Africa test run aren’t 100% production ready and though they’re from Porsche, they didn’t come with any information with regards to the car’s new innards. We mentioned just a while ago when the spyshots were published that the facelifted version gets its headlights, tail lamps and Daytime-Running Lights changed up. There are also new bumpers and tailpipes that are just a wee bit closer together than the current model.
Nothing much left to do but wait for official engine and transmission specs. All we can guess now is that there’s going to be turbocharging all across the board with the exception of the GT3 model. For now, enjoy the photos.
