Next month, dealerships around the United States will start selling a new version of the 2016 Elantra that focuses on delivering more bang for buck than it already does. At US$1000 lower than the current base model price, the 2016 Hyundai Elantra Value Edition gets a lot more spec than you’d expect.
At this price point, a few things come standard, including the sunroof, chrome trim, 16”alloy wheels and turn signals on the wing mirrors. There’s even a leather-wrapped steering wheel with tilt/telescoping adjustment, keyless ignition and heated seats at the front.
With this announcement comes some minor changes throughout the rest of the Elantra line.
The Sport variant loses some standard equipment like leather seats and the power sunroof for a lower starting price and the Limited edition gets a few more goodies in the form of dual-zone auto climate control and keyless ignition.
