Rolls-Royce have come up with a new special edition of its 2-door called the Wraith – Inspired by Fashion. As you would expect, it’s a jazzed up version of the coupe that’s based on the BMW F01 platform shared with the 7-Series. It is made by the craftsmen from the Bespoke Design Studio at Goodwood, who drew inspiration from colour palettes, materials and techniques used by designers in the world of fashion.
Starting with the interior, the new Rolls-Royce has a white-on-black interior. The accent colour, pictured here in green, is embroidered on headrests, seat stitching and piping, and on the steering wheel, which also features a two-tone composition. Speaking of the steering wheel also features a seamless stitch done by craftspeople in the Rolls’ Leather Shop.
Being a Rolls-Royce, nothing but the best materials make it to the interior. Found inside are some of the finest silks, leathers and wood panelling that takes 9 days to lacquer. A Bespoke Clock with a pearl effect decorates the interior as its predominant centrepiece.
The car features the integration of welting, a specialist technique most commonly associated with Bespoke tailoring, in the form of a colourful silk strip that frames Wraith’s signature leather door-panel. Over on the exterior, the Wraith – Inspired by Fashion is finished in Andalucian White and Arctic White, with accents in Jasmine, Tailored Purple or Mugello Red.
