Here comes a refreshed Renault Fluence sedan now sporting a prominent black grille finished with the diamond logo at the centre and a chrome strip. LED daytime running lights are also included on the lower part of the front bumper and there a two versions offered for sale.
The Fluence is offered in Expression or Dynamique trim levels. The full-specification model Dynamique has full high quality leather upholstery, daytime running lights, LED tail lights, and 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels while the entry-level Expression version gets fabric upholstery (which can be upgraded to leather for an extra RM4,000)and 17-inch silver alloy wheels.
Both models share the same level of equipment, including keyless access cards, front wiper with sensor, auto lighting, dual zone air-conditioning, ,reverse camera, multi-function steering wheel and 3D Arkamys sound system.
The Fluence continues to be powered by the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s 2.0-litre 16V 140 engine that develops 143 hp at 6,000 rpm and 195 Nm of torque at 3750 rpm. Mated to the new CVT X-tronic transmission, this large and spacious sedan returns a fuel consumption of 7.7 litres per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 178 g per km.
Standard safety equipment is high for both variants which include ABS with emergency braking assist, EBD, six airbags, auto door lock, anti-theft system with immobilizer and power assisted steering with tilt and telescope adjustments.
Prices start from RM108,888 (OTR without insurance) for the Fluence Expression and RM119,888 for the Fluence Dynamique. Both veriants are covered by a 5-year manufacturer warranty that comes with unlimited mileage.
