Looking instantly recognizable, the redesigned Step WGN MPV now has a sportier front fascia with a prominent grille that is flanked by more conventional looking headlights. Moving further back, we can see sculpted body panels and a unique “Waku Waku Gate” that opens up or to the side.
The Northern European-inspired cabin features a digital instrument cluster, gloss black accents and faux wood trim. The van also has a three-spoke steering wheel, a 60-40 split folding third row seat and an optional infotainment system.
Power is provided by a new 1.5-liter VTEC TURBO engine that produces 150PS and 203Nm of torque. It is connected to a continuously variable transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system. Question now is when will this midsized family MPV come to Malaysian Honda showrooms.
