The BMW World event is one that is held in various countries as a means for BMW to showcase their latest and greatest models, including some concepts and some of their roots as well. Open to the public, these events help to educate people on the finer points of a BMW, from the engineering to the experience itself.
For the first time, Malaysia will be hosting it’s own BMW World event. The event will put all three of the BMW Group brands on display- BMW, MINI and Motorrad will all have displays to check out.
In addition to this, the BMW 328 Hommage concept car will be available for viewing in the metal. This concept model is a tribute to the original BMW 328- a sports and race car from the 1930s, not to be confused with the 328i. In true concept car fashion, the model is said to “capture a modern-day interpretation of the original’s principles”, which means designers are given plenty of creative freedom with the model. All in though, it’s a pretty slick looking car and definitely worth checking out.
