Mitsubishi Motors, who last week more or stated that they’d be shifting their focus away from sedans and towards SUVs, today published a couple of images of their 2016 Outlander.
The Outlander will feature Mitsubishi’s new ‘face’, and will spell out the Japanese automaker’s design language, which we’ll likely see more of on EVs and 4X4s.
The Outlander is a more of a crossover than a pure SUV and this redesigned model will feature a hundred or so improvements to its design and engineering over the previous model. The interior will also be revamped, with the company focusing more on style, refinement and drivability over ruggedness and utalitarianism. The full reveal comes next week at the New York International Auto Show.
