With the Bathurst 12 hour race over, many motorsports fans are still reeling from the close quarters combat and aggressive overtakes displayed from the field. Some may argue that it’s even more difficult to overtake as the cars are large GT cars, but here we have a video of a race back in 2005- a leg of the Lotus Trophy series held at Bathurst. He manages to start from far back in the field and fight his way to the front- no mean feat. According to his driver profile on driverdb.com, he has been competing since 1999, taking a podium in roughly 63% of the races he has entered, and outright winning around 33% of those races as well.
