The Perpetual Calendar Manufacture Boutique Edition adopts the same self-winding movement UN-32 in a 43 mm platinum case here framing a new elegant blue dial, nicely matched to a blue alligator leather strap.
The calibre UN-32, a COSC-certified chronometer, was introduced by the manufacture based in Le Locle in 1996 as the first perpetual calendar to allow forwards and backwards adjustment over one single crown.
This advanced perpetual calendar with digital indication (big date at 1 o’clock, day of the week and month at 8 and 4 o’clock respectively, two-digit year at 6 o’clock) is combined to a useful GMT function based on a patented quick setting mechanism. The wearer can easily read a second timezone thanks to the outer 24-hour ring over which sweeps a red-tipped hand which can be moved forward using the push-piece at 4 o`clock or back using the one at 8 o`clock.
Only 250 pieces of this Ulysse Nardin Perpetual Calendar Manufacture Boutique Edition (ref. 329-10/93-BQ) will be produced. Very limited and exclusive.
