German tuning giant BRABUS further stamped its mark in the Malaysian automotive scene after launching a Showroom and Performance Centre here today, witnessed by Datuk Wira HJ SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, NAZA Group of Companies Joint Group Executive Chairman, Mr. Christoph Dietze, BRABUS Regional Sales Manager for Asia-Pacific and Africa and Mr. David Hector Ratnaike, Vice President, 4-Wheel Division of NAZA World Group of Companies.
Launched under the distributorship of Naza-Brabus Motors Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the NAZA Group of Companies, the new centres widen BRABUS’s Malaysian network which currently also consists of an outlet in NAZA Automall Petaling Jaya.
An investment worth RM6 million, the new BRABUS Showroom in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, features a 5,000 sq ft floor on which models such as the BRABUS ML WideStar, BRABUS iBusiness S class and BRABUS SLK are displayed. Customers can also perform interior and exterior customisations and online configurations for their BRABUS cars at the showroom.
The new Performance Centre is located just 500m away from the BRABUS Showroom for added convenience. The 25,000 sq ft facility boasts eight service bays and is currently manned by ten staff, five of which are trained BRABUS technicians.
The Performance Centre acts as a one-stop solution centre for Mercedes-Benz and BRABUS owners which offers services such as BRABUS kit conversions, engine tuning, performance upgrades, scheduled maintenance, repairs as well as tyre replacement and alignment.
At the launch, Naza-Brabus Sdn Bhd displayed a BRABUS CLS Rocket 730, a pristine example of a high-performance luxury BRABUS vehicle tuned behind the walls of the new Performance Centre itself. Based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, the Rocket 730 boasts myriad of extensive upgrades certified by BRABUS GmbH which boost the output of its 5.5-litre bi-turbo engine to a whopping 730hp and 1,065Nm, propelling the car from 0-100kph in just 3.8 seconds with a rated top speed of 350kph.

Hopefully, this spurs owners to undertake more adventurous BRABUS upgrades with their cars in the future,” he added.
The new Brabus Showroom is open daily from 9:00AM to 6:00PM. The Performance Centre operates from 8:30AM to 5:00PM on weekdays, and from 8:30AM to 1:00PM on Saturdays.
