0MOTO GUZZI Presents The California Audace Cruiser
The new Audace (which means bold in Italian) is the starkest evolution of the Moto Guzzi California, replete with a matte-black color scheme, polished edges on the cylinder fins and valve-cover ribs, plus megaphone-shaped mufflers. The Audace is basically an evolution of the California Custom model, sharing the same gas-charged Sachs shock absorbers and cast aluminum wheels, here with the Moto Guzzi logo in red.
In addition to the matte-black color scheme, the Audace is immediately identifiable thanks to its drag handlebar bar with tall risers, its “naked” front fork and its suede-trimmed seat, which has contrasting red double stitching. Most significant, though, is the adoption of a fatter 200/65-17 rear tire. Also, footpegs replace the California’s floorboards, which means the rocker-type shifter has been replaced by a conventional “push-down/pull-up” shift lever. More will be revealed soon.
