Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia (F/F) won Rally Spain to once again clinch the drivers’ and co-drivers’ WRC titles – defending their titles as world champions! Their teammates Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila (FIN/FIN) finished the rally in second place, while the third Volkswagen duo of Andreas Mikkelsen/Ola Fløene (N/N) likewise secured their overall WRC position before the end of the season in Spain. Their seventh win of the season, Ogier/Ingrassia now have an unassailable lead of 31 points ahead of the final rally of the season in the UK.

Rally Spain 2014

Sebastien Ogier clinched his second World Drivers title with this victory in Spain ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala who pushed Ogier hard until the end of the rally. Heading in to the weekend Ogier only had to finish ahead of Latvala to secure the title but despite leading for most of the rally his team-mate made sure it went down to the wire as they finished with a 11.3 second gap between them.
