The Shell FuelSave Challenge 2014 successfully concluded with the crowning of Muhammad Kamal Asyraf as champion after he/she clocked in 20.64 kilometres per litre on Shell FuelSave 95 at the National Finals.
The annual challenge and campaign has been one of the most important initiatives by Shell Malaysia reaching out to thousands of Malaysians drivers on the good message of smarter mobility and showed them how they can easily improve their fuel efficiency by making smarter choices on the road.
The event, held for the sixth consecutive year, showcases how easy it is for everyday individuals to become advocates of fuel-saving and be rewarded when they practice the Shell FuelSave Tips coupled with the use of Shell FuelSave fuels, which are designed to last longer per tank.
Held at The Saujana, the National Finals today saw Muhammad Kamal Asyraf who was the East Coast regional winner compete against three other regional winners on a stipulated route of 92 kilometres. All four finalists put to practice the smart driving tips they learned during the regional challenges at the National Finals in the Hyundai-Inokom Elantra 1.6 Sport, the official car for the Shell FuelSave Challenge 2014, sponsored by Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Sdn. Bhd.
