There is a study to find cars with the best seats from J.D. Power. The car brand to take the top spot for this survey is surprisingly Toyota. This year’s study seems to favour big vehicles, as the Toyota 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia (all these Toyota models are sold in North America and not in Asia) which are all included in the list of the best six Toyotas with superior seating.
The Lexus RX is there too and even the compact Scion iQ, which unfortunately will exit production this year due to short demand. J.D. Power made the list by asking new car owners to rate the quality of their seats and seatbelts during the first 90 days of ownership. Over 86,000 people that bough 2014 model year cars and light trucks were surveyed.
Toyota won the survey, with 6 out of 21 cars being recognized for superior seating. The list also contains luxury vehicles like Range Rover Evoque, Porsche Cayenne, basic vehicles like the Ford F-250, Ford C-Max and the luxury sports sedan the Porsche Panamera.
