The Italian/Serbian duo made up by Edoardo Piscopo and Milos Pavlovic, won Race One overall and the PRO Class in Spa-Francorshamps fourth season’s round LamborghiniBlancpain Super Trofeo.
On the hilly and fast Belgian track the Bonaldi Motorsport duo took their third win of the season, thus increasing their championship lead, in an emotional finish when they crossed the line with just a 318 thousands gap over the Dutch Jeroen Mul (Automobili Lamborghini RT Germany). Impressive race for the deb Simone Di Luca, third overall on the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo set by team Autocarrozzeria Imperiale.
Bad luck for Mirko Bortolotti (Bonaldi Motorsport) who started from pole but was forced to retire after five laps due to a puncture when he was leading the pack. Same outcome for Alberto Di Folco (Autocarrozzeria Imperiale), second in qualify and new leader after the retire of Bortolotti. In his case a problem with the brakes slowed him down.
Seizing the PRO-AM class was the Austrian GRT Grasser Racing Team duo made up by Gerhard Tweraser and Sandro Bickel. Behind them arrived the new pair Andrea Ceccato-Sebastian Merchan, then too racing with Bonaldi Motorsport, and Mikko Eskelinen-Dimitri Enjalbert (Automobili Lamborghini RT Luxemburg).
Sixth season’s win in the AM Class for Simone Pellegrinelli (DTMotorsport), who thus further increased his championship lead. With him on podium the two drivers racing with Automobili Lamborghini RT Luxemburg, Shota Abkhazava and Taras Polishchuk.
