Where tiniest mud holes ask too much of the great multitude of SUV models, the Range Rover “Vogue” reaches its full potential. However, hardly any driver will end up in the outback with the muscular all-wheel talent. But also on the road the “off-road king” with up to 500 hp moves fast. And the prominent Brit cuts an athletic figure even more so after Hamann’s refinement touches. With subtle yet effective stylistic elements the tuning manufacture in Laupheim makes the large “Range” have a distinctive and recognisable appearance.
Wrapped in cool dispassion of simple plastic parts, the production model’s front is easily overlooked. But Hamann’s skilfully shaped front spoiler will definitely turn heads. The custom-made three-piece mounting part adds completely new facets to the “Vogue”: The paintable lip is a noble antithesis to the stout radiator grille of the standard model and connects to the lateral attachments with grilled air intakes. The side parts support brake ventilation and emphasise the vehicle’s dynamic traits – a detail that will not only catch sports fans’ eyes.
Also the rear appears authoritative after Hamann has added the elegantly refined rear skirt. It replaces the unimpressive standard part and converts the body’s end into an imposing stage for the four-pipe sports exhaust system. The stainless-steel system provides for a worthy sound – four trapezoidal tailpipes showcase the athletic origin in the tuning factory in Baden Württemberg.
Hamann’s premium forged wheels “Edition Race” are just as individual as the owners’ character. The demanding Range Rover fan can enjoy three-pieced 23-inch alloy wheels designed for high loads. Their extraordinary cross-spoke design will grab much attention. The finish is not off the shelf as well: the Range Rover’s side face is decorated with a black anodised rim star, titanium bolts and a polished rim flange.
Sport pedals, floor mats and headrests from Hamann’s interior line add that certain something to the vehicle’s interior.
