Behind the desk all day at work, Zul yearns for the open road on the weekends. He loves to drive and is very conscious about the performance of his car, even if it is a simple Malaysian made hatchback. For Zul, the efficiency and performance of his engine is important and this is why he was interested to try PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 XTRA for 2 weeks. Here are his thoughts after trying PRIMAX 95 XTRA.
Q1. Are you currently a PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 XTRA customer?
ANSWER: No
Q2. After 2 weeks of using PRIMAX 95 XTRA does your engine feel smoother on a drive?
ANSWER: I did not feel any difference.
Q3. On a full tank of PRIMAX 95 XTRA do you get better mileage over your previous brand of fuel?
ANSWER: No. It is almost the same or lower, but the difference is not too much.
Q4. Is it easy to find PRIMAX 95 XTRA near your office or home?
ANSWER: Very easy. I can find PETRONAS almost everywhere!
Q5. Are you happy with PRIMAX 95 XTRA?
ANSWER: Not really sure as my car seems to be consuming more fuel when it was running on PRIMAX 95 XTRA as compared to other brand that I also use. But surprisingly, it works fine with PRIMAX 97. Perhaps with different engine/car, PRIMAX 95 XTRA also acts differently. Weird!
Q6. Would you recommend PRIMAX 95 XTRA to friends and family who drive?
ANSWER: Yes. I did ask some of my friends, and they preferred PETRONAS as their 2nd option if their primary fuel station is not available.
Q7. Will you continue to use PRIMAX 95 XTRA?
ANSWER: If AND ONLY it works perfectly with my car, then I will continue using PRIMAX 95 XTRA.
Tell us in your own words the PRIMAX 95 XTRA experience please.
In my personal opinion, PRIMAX 95 XTRA is suitable for most Malaysian cars for daily use. This is proven on the recent post posted at the MyviClub facebook group where Petronas was the favourite fuel chosen by most of the club commenters. Some also claimed that PRIMAX 95 XTRA vaporized extensively which causes the fuel to burn faster and so low mileage is gained. Nonetheless, I still have a feeling that PRIMAX 95 is not being “friendly” with my car’s engine and so this has resulted in less mileage achieved by me on city cruising or long distance driving. This is not a technical fact, but the mileage gained does matter to me.
