The Audi RS6 Avant is an awesome piece of machinery but for some owners its power delivery of 560 hp and 700Nm of torque from its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine is just not enough. So here is an idea for these power hungry RS6 owners.
The engineers at German tuning firm HPerformance decided to give an extra cure of steroids to the Audi V8 in order to pump out an impressive 700 hp and 860Nm of torque. The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 was equipped with a carbon air intake, and received an ECU remap as well. The original exhaust system was replaced by HPerformance with an in-house 70 mm double pipe exhaust featuring two sound-controlling valves with audio control integrated into the RS6’ MMI infotainment interface.
HPerformance didn’t release any performance figures. However, we can assume that, if the stock RS6 Avant (with Dynamic Plus option) is capable of sprinting 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaching a top speed on 305km/h, the vehicle tuned up by HPerformance should improve all the figures. The German tuner is also working on an even more power upgrading package, featuring larger turbocharger and custom exhaust system.
