Porsche’s 2015 911 Targa will have a removable roof panel that will probably be made out of aluminum, directly above the passengers’ heads. This won’t be the only new thing as it will also incorporate a roll bar adorned by three small vertical air vents, a large wraparound rear window, all design features that were first seen in the 1967 Targa.
For the interior, there will be extreme changes made and the car will actually incorporate a similar dashboard to the 911 Convertible’s cabin. The standard Targa will have a 3.4-liter flat-six rated at 350 horsepower and the Targa S will feature a 3.8-liter flat-six, 400 horsepower. More to come right after its launch.
