In conjunction with their recent maiden shop launch in Malaysia, KONICA MINOLTA ICE-μ™ provided free tinting services to the vehicles of three community homes using their revolutionary fifth generation multi-nano layer dielectric reflective film.
The free tint was given out as an expression of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative to help the less fortunate benefit from their advanced film technology. An orphanage, Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih and two homes for the elderly, Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Grace Klang, and Lovely Nursing Centre were the happy recipients of the free tint.
The Shah Alam outlet, the first in South East Asia, offers Konica Minolta Inc.’s newest innovation of high performance window films for both vehicles and buildings.
“We wanted to give back to the community and what better way than to provide the homes something that will benefit them in the long run. With the hot weather in Malaysia, residents from these homes will find that they can enjoy cooler rides in their vehicles as the tint will help to block heat and harmful UV rays,” said David Lee, CEO of Jasa Sarjana Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor for KONICA MINOLTA ICE-μ™ films in Malaysia.
Lee explained that the KONICA MINOLTA ICE-μ™ tint also helps reduce the effects of the sun’s heat and decreases the use of air conditioning. This will result in better fuel consumption for vehicles with the film installed.
