An ecstatic Bao Jin Long has won this year’s Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup China. The Chinese driver only needed one third and one second place at the season finale in Shanghai to win the series. Although his arch-rival Andrea Reggiani (I) put in a better performance this weekend with one win and one second place, Bao Jin Long was more successful throughout the course of the year and finished at the top of the points table with 156 to 150. The first race was won by Thomas Fjordbach, who led from start to finish. The Dane ended the season a strong third overall.
