PROTON has just launched an exciting new contest for the Malaysian public, called “Pandu & Menang”.
The contest starts immediately and will run for 60 days and ends on 17 December 2013. Winners stand the chance to win daily and weekly prizes which include a 42″ LED TV, electrical gadgets and cash prizes throughout the duration of the contest worth more than RM400,000 in total. The Grand Prize winner selected at the end of the contest will win the Proton Prevé LE, a limited edition of Proton’s family sedan, which was also unveiled on the same day.
According to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, Dato’ Lukman Ibrahim, the main objective of the contest was to create excitement and visibility of the PROTON brand. “The contest is part of PROTON’s initiative to acknowledge the support we have received from not only our customers – but more importantly, Malaysians as a whole. This is also an interesting way for us to invite the general public to test drive and experience a Proton car for themselves,” he said.
Malaysians and Permanent Residents of the country with a valid IC or passport and drivers license are eligible to participate in the “Pandu & Menang” contest. To enter, simply head over to a PROTON Showroom to test drive any Proton model and fill in the test drive form. The contest is divided into two areas – one is via SMS, where participants will need to answer two questions correctly and respond in the fastest time to win the Daily Prizes.
The other portion of the contest invites participants to take a creative picture with the test drive Proton car and upload it on Facebook to win the Weekly Prizes. However, only the SMS contest participants who places a booking and registers his or her car within the contest period will be eligible to win the Grand Prize of the Proton Prevé LE.
The Proton Prevé LE is also the national car company’s latest offering. Unveiled at the the “Pandu & Menang” contest launch, the car has a limited production number of only 100 units and is only available in Solid White. Additions to the car include an all-new body kit, leather seats, 17″ rims and a 5-Star ANCAP package with six airbags.
“Since the launch of the Proton Prevé last year, Malaysians have seen for themselves the kind of commitment we have made towards improving the overall quality of our cars, as we remain steadfast to our philosophy of offering Malaysians products with quality and high level of safety, yet is value-for money. In support of this, the Proton Prevé LE really is also a way for us to say thank you to our customers for their support towards our products and the PROTON Brand.” added Dato’ Lukman.
At the same time, PROTON also unveiled a brand new colour for the existing Proton Prevé called Soft Lilac. Targeted to appeal to female buyers, customers will be able to place a booking on their Proton Prevé in Soft Lilac at PROTON showrooms nationwide from today onwards.
