Triumph has given the popular Speed Triple 1050 a light refresh with a new blue colour available along with some minor cosmetic changes including a clear rear light and accessories now fitted as standard.
The iconic Speed Triple has been around in the current form since 2010 and this is the first time the bike has been altered. It’s expected this bike will be replaced by a much more heavily revised version within the next couple of years and this latest tweak is a way of keeping interest in the bike running.
The new Matt Caspian blue colour scheme will be offered alongside the existing black and white paintjobs and all three versions get gold wheel pinstripes, gold decals along with a flyscreen, bellypan and black exhaust heat shields all as standard. The rear light now has a clear lens and there are rubber tank pads fitted too. This new Speed Triple is still powered by the same 1050cc, liquid cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, in-line triple engine as the current model, generating 133bhp at 9400rpm and a peak torque of 111 Nm at 7750 rpm.
