The Nissan GT-R continues to set records with every new upgrade presented. Now comes a GT-R that will take the crown as the fastest-accelerating car on earth. Why? Because Nissan is preparing the Nismo version of the GT-R, which will be even more powerful and lighter than the standard version. The GT-R Nismo will be capable to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in an astonishing 2.0 seconds! This means that the GT-R Nismo will be faster than the exclusive Bugatti Veyron Super Sport but also than the lightweight models such as the Ariel Atom V8.
Apparently, the twin-turbo V6 engine will get a power boost thanks to British company Williams Advanced Engineering, which is the same company that helped Nissan to develop the Juke Nismo. Moreover, the Nismo GT-R will get a range of sporty styling upgrades, a new exhaust system and plenty of carbon fiber trim and stylish red detailing. For those who don’t know, this Nissan GT-R supercar is powered by the same 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that develops an impressive 550bhp which is able to propel this car from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.7 seconds. The Nismo GT-R will make its debut in November at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.
