And as part of today’s release, Google Maps Navigation (Beta) is now also available for Malaysia for phones running Android 2.2 and above. Google Maps Navigation (Beta) is an Internet-connected GPS navigation system that provides turn-by-turn voice guided driving directions as a feature of Google Maps. It uses your phone’s Internet connection to give you the latest maps and business information and live traffic updates.
Now you’ll never need to buy map upgrades or manually update your device because you can use the most recent data from Google Maps. We’re also giving you a variety information you can use along the way, including step-by-step instruction lists and the choice to view your route from the air, in order to help you find what you need and get to where you need to go as quickly as possible.
To get the Google Maps app, search for and download the newest release of ‘Google Maps’ in Google Play. Google Maps for Android version 6.14.4 and lower require Android 2.1+. Google Maps for Android version 7.0 and above requires Android 4.0.3+.
