Aston Martin is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The British manufacturer together with Zagato also celebrates over 50 years of partnership. Zagato will build two models, the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial and the DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial for this centenary celebration. The bad news is that the two cars are already sold: the convertible model went to American car collector Peter Read, known for its passion for Aston Martin cars, while the coupe went to a young entrepreneur based in Japan.
Both cars draw inspiration from the 2002 Aston martin DB7 Zagato, but looking at the photos we can say that the vehicles are quite impressive. Just like any other Zagato models, the coupe features the well-known double-bubble roof but also new styling elements such as squared-off tail, fender vents and the signature grille. Both models will be powered by the 6.0-liter V12 engine, developing a impressive 510hp.
