Ford Opens New 3S Service Centre in Ampang to Serve Growing Customer Base in Malaysia

Ford has opened another new, world-class 3S Centre in Ampang. Strategically located along Jalan Ulu Kelang, this new facility is part of Ford’s expansion strategy to enhance customer service for a growing base of Ford owners in Malaysia. Operated by Trio Mantap Sdn Bhd, this new 3S Centre includes a showroom, service centre and spare parts departments. With the opening of this facility, Ford now has 45 network points nationwide that offer both sales and service. The upgraded facility showcases the award-winning all-new Ford Focus and all-new Ford Ranger, as well as the popular Ford Fiesta.
“The growth of Ford’s product line-up of all-new, smart, fuel-efficient vehicles in Malaysia goes hand-in-hand with our continued enhancements to customer service offerings,” said David Westerman, regional manager, Asia Pacific, Ford Export & Growth Operations. “This new 3S Centre will provide customers with easier access to reliable, full-service facilities in Ampang and the larger vicinity of Ulu Kelang.” Westerman continued: “It is clear that Trio Mantap shares our vision to further invest in Ford for Malaysia with this launch. This is the result of our strong partnership and the success the dealership has achieved in this market.”

The Trio Mantap dealership achieved a milestone this year with a 45 percent increase in sales. With this new launch, Trio Mantap currently has a total of four outlets nationwide. The new 3S Centre has a showroom that displays up to six vehicles, a well-equipped lounge with free Wi-Fi, TV and other amenities that ensure comfort and satisfaction for customers. The adjacent service centre, which is open six days a week, houses the latest Ford diagnostic tools and Ford-trained technicians.
Customers of this new 3S Centre in Ampang will also enjoy Ford’s five-year warranty and Ford’s Extended Service Plan (ESP), both of which offer peace of mind while helping customers save costs and increase the resale value of their vehicles. This new 3S Centre is also participating in two nationwide Ford promotional campaigns. The Ford Big Deal promotion, offers new Ford owners free car insurance, road tax and car registration fees1for select Ford models booked and registered between now until 31 December 2012.

Additionally, Ford owners who take part in the Ford Service Extravaganza promotion at this new facility and enjoy free 20-point vehicle health checks as well as 10 percent discounts on spare parts. Service centre customers with a minimum spend of RM200 in a single receipt will also be eligible to participate in a contest to win the latest gadgets including smartphones, tablets and GPS systems. TheFord Service Extravaganza promotion is to help drivers and their families stay safe on the roads especially with the end-of-year school holidays and upcoming festive season. The promotion ends on 28 February 2013.

Meanwhile, customers who purchase and take delivery of the all-new Ford Focus from this new facility by 31 December will be eligible to participate in the All-New Ford Focus Challenge to win the grand prize — an all-new Ford Focus (4-door Titanium).
