NICO ROSBERG PIT-STOPS AT PRE-OPENING OF PETRONAS 1001 STATION

Fresh from his strong 5th place finish at the Singapore Grand Prix this past weekend, MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team driver Nico Rosberg made a special pitstop in Kuala Lumpur to join in the pre-launch hype of PETRONAS’ 1001st station located in Wangsa Maju. Lucky winners from the company’s retail arm, PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad’s (PDB) online Facebook contest winners were treated to a rare and personal encounter with the formula one driver.
The event was held as part of PDB’s build-up to the landmark opening of the company’s 1001st station in the country and continued efforts to highlight its product R&D efforts through PETRONAS’ involvement in formula one and motorsports.  In addition to expanding the company’s global commercial footprint, PETRONAS’ association with the formula one team represents an important technological platform for the company to engineer formula one inspired products such as the PRIMAX 95 XTRA and PETRONAS Syntium.
