Land Rover has official unwrapped the all new 2013 Range Rover SUV, a car that features a sharply lighter body, better handling as well as improved fuel economy. According to the official press release, the new Range Rover is the first SUV to feature an all-aluminum unibody structure and comparing it with the outgoing model, it is with 39 percent lighter.
In terms of design, the 2013 Range Rover features sleeker lines, new front and rear fascias, but the profile remains the same. The interior was also upgraded and now offers more legroom (4.7 inches) for the rear passengers. As an option, the new Range Rover can feature rear bucket seats that transform it into a four-seater.
Moreover, the interior noise has also been reduced by 39 percent lighter lamination of the windshield and side door glass. Under the hood we will find a refined supercharged V8 petrol engine, but also TDV6 and TDV8 diesel engines. More details are set to be revealed. According to the manufacturer, the deliveries of the 2013 Range Rover are set to begin in early 2013.
