The Perodua tweckbot crew rolls out to offer a free 20-point safety check to Perodua vehicles in selected locations in peninsular Malaysia for the upcoming Ramadan and Aidil Fitri celebrations. The 20-point safety check include the engine, transmission, cooling system, break system, power steering system, clutch system, tyres, suspension system, electrical system, passenger compartment and doors.
“This unique corporate responsibility project is our way of giving back to our customers by helping to ensure that their vehicle is up for the long journey back to their loved ones,” Perodua Managing Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said. He added that it was paramount that vehicle owners check their vehicles’ road worthiness to ensure a pleasant and above all safe journey. Aminar said “Perodua is also extending the routes taken by the Perodua tweckbot team to include the East Coast this year as we wanted to extend the checking services to as many of our customers as possible – because you matter most.”
The Perodua tweckbot, the first Corporate Responsibility twitter-based vehicle safety vehicle check project in Malaysia, was first launched in July 2011 to give its customers a peace of mind by giving a free vehicle inspection whenever the tweckbot crew is in the neighbourhood. To participate, a Perodua vehicle owner must have a twitter account and secure an appointment with the tweckbot team via @MYPerodua when they are in the area.
Perodua is also extending this convenience to its non-tweeting customers via short messaging service (SMS) at 016- 6020 287 or they could also post their appointment at MYPerodua facebook page when the tweckbot team is near their location.
