0Ssangyong Rexton Is Back
SsangYong Korea introduced today a facelifted version of its well-known Rexton. Dubbed SsangYong Rexton W (from Work of Art), the new car looks even better and features a revised front end featuring new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, new grille and a revised front bumper. Moreover, the doors mirrors now feature indicator lights, while the rear lights were modified slightly. The exterior design is completed by the 18-inch wheels. The interior of the car was also updated and now features an innovative dashboard and better materials. Under the hood there is a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine delivering 155 hp and 365 Nm of torque. A more powerful version of the same 2.0-liter engine is available with 195 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Both engines will be mated as standard with a Mercedes-Benz-sourced 5-speed automatic transmission. The SsangYong Rexton W uses the same platform from the first-generation Mercedes M-Class.
