Bosch recently partnered with 3 car clubs for German made cars, Audi Club Malaysia, BMW Club Malaysia and Volkswagen Club Malaysia to conduct a special showcase on the company’s latest innovations in car care. Some 70 car enthusiasts turned up with the not so new and latest cars.
Mr. Woon Kim Hwa, General Manager (Sales, Marketing and Service), Automotive Aftermarket, Malaysia and Brunei of Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd was in attendance and he said, “Car clubs are the community powerhouse for passionate and enthusiastic car lovers whose interest does not rest in design alone, but encompasses the mechanics and technology within the car as well. With this showcase, we wanted to highlight some basic but essential tips to enthusiasts on keeping their cars in top shape while encouraging open dialogue amongst members of some of the most active car clubs in the country.” Car enthusiasts were given a demonstration of what a standard car inspection entailed as well as an overview on automotive parts developed by Bosch, which could be used for performance optimization and efficiency in their cars. Participants also enjoyed a tour of the newly refurbished NSS Bosch Service Centre.
“Through this platform, we hope to provide car enthusiasts essential tips and insights to allow their cars to perform at its optimal best, and at the same time keeping them abreast of the latest available automotive innovations by Bosch,” said Mr. Woon.
According to Dzulkarnain B. Amir, one of the participants of the Bosch Car Club showcase, “We are glad that such a reputable expert in automotive technology such as Bosch has taken the initiative to provide car aficionados like us the opportunity to discover the full potential of something that we are most passionate about.”
Fellow participant Tan Ke-Vin added, “Bosch has built a global reputation for its innovative solutions in the automotive industry and the company’s initiative in engaging the car club community through such educational showcases is a demonstration of their commitment to their customers.”
