This is the new C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+. It is most CO2-efficient conventionally powered model ever. With combined cycle economy of 83.1mpg and emissions of only 87g/km, the new C3 supermini variant is now the company’s most CO2 and fuel efficient diesel powered vehicle, positioning it as among the very best in its class. However it will not come to Malaysia as the diesel quality here (EURO2M) will not be able to run it efficiently. It was first revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. This new vehicle utilizes the company’s innovative e-HDi micro-hybrid Stop & Start technology, coupled with an efficient and refined 68hp HDi diesel engine in order to provide maximum fuel economy of 88.3mpg in extra urban driving.
