Toyota’s subsidiary, Kei, has recently released a new version of the popular Mira called the e:S in Japan only. This could well be the next Kancil from Perodua.
Kei vehicles are successful in. Kei produces small pickup trucks and minivans on these platforms. The primary focus of this vehicle is to achieve higher fuel economy from this little car that’s actually already very efficient. Toyota said that to make the engine very efficient, it has revised all aspects of the engine, transmission and body.
The Mira e:S could use up to 40% less fuel than the conventional model. It is powered by a three-cylinder 650cc petrol engine that offers 52hp at 6,800rpm and 60Nm (44 lb-ft) of peak torque at 5,200rpm.The official fuel economy ratings for the car will run for 30 km on a liter of fuel (around 70.5 mpg US), according to the JC08 Mode test cycle.
But on Japan’s 10-15 Mode test cycle, it can go 32 kilometers per liter. Let’s see if the product planners at Perodua will have this new car in Malaysian showrooms soon. Lagi Banyak BEST!
