The official unveiling of this pickup was at the Buenos Aires International Motor Show two months ago. Wayne Brannon, President and Managing Director of Chevrolet Europe, said that trucks are “an essential part” of the brand. He also said that the Colorado Rally Concept “creatively reinterprets” the brand’s heritage through its “purposeful design, refinement and uncompromising capability.” The double-cab pickup has permanent four-wheel drive and a set of aluminum rims 18-inch double-ended (machining and polishing) that are covered in 305/60 R18 tires.
It will be powered by a 2.8-liter turbodiesel but its output levels have yet to be announced. In terms of design, the concept features LED lighting elements, Chevrolet’s signature dual-port grille, muscular fiberglass fenders, and a sculpted hood.
Its body has a triple coat of pearl white and a dash of ‘golden’ particles. Charcoal-colored plastic is what was used to create its roof and bumpers, the stylized roll-bar, and the inside of its load bay, which accommodates the tool boxes and a spare tire.
