0Jaguar To Introduce A Wagon Version Of The XF
Wagons are very popular in Europe and so Jaguar Cars wants a slice of this lucrative segment which is dominated by Audi and Mercedes. Ian Callum, Jaguar design chief, guarantees that the design will be special and will be “slightly different, with character and panache.” Jaguar will also be adding a four-cylinder turbodiesel as a new entry-level XF. The X-Type, which was the last wagon to come from Jaguar which didn’t do so well in terms of sales but the carmaker is optimistic that a revived XF estate may boost sales to the lineup and will compete with models like the Mercedes E-Class wagon and Audi A6 Avant.
