This is the first official photo with the 2012 CR-V Concept. The CRV has been a global best seller for Honda and now this 4th generation is set to continue the sales success. The final production version of the 2012 CR-V is expected to make its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. This CR-V Concept looks way better than the current model and promises to introduce more colorful design elements such as smoked-out headlights, a new front skid plate, polished black lower trim and bigger wheels. Under the hood, Honda will offer the 2.4-liter inline four cylinder engine delivering about 180 hp and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Both a 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive versions will be offered. With the new engine and the new gearbox, the 2012 Honda CR-V will offer better fuel consumption over the current CR-V’s 21 mpg city/28 highway (21/27 mpg for the AWD model).
