Nabil Jeffri was relived to finally nail a podium finish in what is described as a “bad weekend”. Nabil finished third in Round 6 of the JK Racing Asia Series at the Sepang International Circuit with a time of 2:12.921s. EuroInternational driver Lucas Auer dominated the tracks after crossing the finish line with a time of 2:11.986s while Nabil’s team mate Irfan Ilyas was placed second with 2:12.161s. Nabil was placed fourth in Round 5 held hours earlier.
Lucas Auer hogged the limelight after winning all four races in Sepang. The EuroInternational lad was a class above the rest after clocking 2:11.986s to extend his lead in the standings with 116 points. Irfan Ilyas of PETRONAS MOFAZ Racing once again came in second (2:12.161s) while team mate Nabil Jeffri finished third (2:12.921s). The Austrian has won five out of the six rounds held in Sepang. However, Irfan believes he might struggle debuting at the Sentul International Circuit as the Series heads over to Indonesia.
