The Korean automaker is already a big winner in the recent 2010 Asian Auto Fuel Efficiency event and is now expanding their best selling city car lineup with the Hyundai i10 Blue,a model which promises CO2 emissions below 100 g/Km, and unbeatable fuel consumption of juat 67.3 mpg.
The Hyundai i10 Blue will go on sale with a new 1.0-litre Kappa engine under its bonnet, as a replacement for the old 1.1-litre Epsilon unit.
The 1.25 litre engine on the Hyundai i10 Blue has also been improved, as it now packs 33 percent more power, with a total output of 85 bhp, while emissions and consumption have dropped by 9.2 percent and 8.7 percent respectively, at 108 grams per Km and 61.4 mpg.
This revised lineup includes four equipment grades named the Blue, Classic, Active and Style, and on the standard version customers will get features like air conditioning, iPod connectivity, four airbags, a 6-speaker audio stereo, electric windows and central locking.
