Last Saturday to commemorate the opening of Porsche Center Bukit Bintang, Sime Darby Auto Performance launched this sportier 911 Carrera GTS. It is a unique model within the Carrera family combines the 44 millimeter wider Carrera 4 body of the All Wheels Drive models including a wider track with a classic rear-wheel drive. This new Carrera GTS has a number of details which distinguish the appearance and technology of a GTS from other Carrera models.
Powered by a 3.8-liter engine delivering a power output of 408 hp, the new 911 Carrera GTS produces 23 hp more than the 911 Carrera S. As a standard, the Carrera GTS has a six-speed manual transmission, and upon request, a seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) is available. Fuel consumption of a Carrera GTS with PDK in the NEDC is 10.2 litres/100 km (27.69 mpg imp), CO2 emissions are 240 g/km.
The 911 Carrera GTS runs on 19-inch centre-mount RS Spyder wheels, painted in black, with high-gloss finish rim flanges and 305/30 ZR 19 tyres on the rear axle.
