EUROMOBIL Opens KL Imbi Showroom
EUROMOBIL Sdn Bhd aims to increase sales of its Audi cars to 700 units this year from 435 last year, chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Khamil Jamil said at the launch of this all new KL city center showroom. He said Audi’s total percentage growth in sales between 2008 and 2009 has doubled with a 102 per cent increase, and its luxury car segment had also jumped 5.04 per cent in the same period. “This year, we are projecting the number to improve significantly,” he said at the launch of the Audi Kuala Lumpur showroom and the Audi R8V10 sports car today. He said the achievements were a testament to Euromobil’s commitment to ensure Audi was the preferred marque for luxury car segment in Malaysia, in line with Audi AG’s aspiration to make the brand the top global luxury car manufacturer by 2015. With this showroom launch, Mohd Kamil also introduced the Audi A5 to the attending media. With solid bookings already in for both the R8 V10 and the A5, Euromobil is pushing the Audi ownership experience to Malaysians with concentrated effort.
Mohd Khamil added that RM20 million has already been allocated to build three new showrooms, with RM6 million already spent on the first of the 3 at this Jalan Imbi showroom he was launching together with the Prime Minister of Malaysia with attending VIP guests from Audi AG and also the German ambassador to Malaysia.
He said Euromobil would also continue with its expansion plans involving sales and services network across the country. Its existing network comprises 3S (sales, service and spares) centres in Juru (Penang), Johor Bahru and Glenmarie (Shah Alam). Mohd Khamil said the company would set up a new after-sales service centre in Jalan Chan Sow Lin to address the needs of clients in Kuala Lumpur, and a new 3S centre in Queensbay Mall, Penang later this year to start moving the Audi ownership experience to the affluent Northern Malaysian states.
