Both models are propelled by a potent 4-Stroke, Air-cooled, SOHC 125cc SEP engine, boasting a formidable 8.7PS of power and 10Nm of torque. Setting the Burgman apart is its advanced Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-α) engine, featuring an Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) system for seamless automatic engine shutdown during halts, complemented by the Suzuki Silent Starter System for whisper-quiet engine starts.

Moreover, the Suzuki Burgman Street EX represents Suzuki’s pinnacle compact scooter, embodying a harmonious blend of sophistication, flair, comfort, utility, and convenience. Its elongated wheelbase ensures unparalleled stability, instilling a sense of solidity and security, while facilitating a plush, comfortable ride.

The expanded floorboards also afford riders versatility in foot placement, with front footboards enabling leg extension for enhanced comfort on extended journeys. This is what truly sets this scooter apart from the Suzuki Avenis series and will really appeal to a wider range of scooter riders in Malaysia.

On top of that, similar to the Avenis, the Suzuki Burgman boasts a generous 21.5 Litres of under-seat storage, paired with two helmet hooks and two utility hooks for added convenience. It also integrates a sealable front compartment furnished with a USB charging port, ensuring easy access to front storage compartments. Notably, it houses a capacious 5.5 Litres fuel tank, unrivalled in its class.

The Suzuki Burgman Street EX debuts in two striking colour options, specifically, Pearl Moon Stone Gray and Metallic Mat Black. Suzuki’s legacy in Malaysia is rich, marked by the pioneering introduction of contemporary, stylish scooters to the masses in the 90s, exemplified by models like the Suzuki V100, VR125, VS125, and VS150.

The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of the Suzuki Burgman Street EX is set at RM7,500, exclusive of road-tax, insurance, and registration fees. This is a very attractive price for the scooter and is definitely well worth it, especially for anyone looking to buy a new scooter.

In summary, Suzuki’s latest offerings, the Avenis and the Burgman Street EX, epitomise the brand’s commitment to innovation, style, and performance, ushering in a new era of excellence in Malaysia’s scooter market.
