Harley-Davidson Motor Company has just announced yesterday that it will undergo a dealer refresh in the Malaysia market following the end of the current dealership agreement with Naza Prestige Bikes Sdn Bhd. (we have seen the showroom along Federal Highway for years now).
Harley-Davidson says that they want to grow the Malaysian business by 50% and this is why they are looking for a new Malaysian partner. Is this growth possible with the current exchange rate?
Is this growth possible will the current influx of better priced cruisers from Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha and also iconic British brand Triumph?
So, who will be the new Harley-Davidson partner in Malaysia? We think it will probably go to ‘Gasket Alley’, located in downtown Petaling Jaya.
