Mercedes’s tuning, performance and racing arm, AMG, will celebrate its 50th birthday this September by revealing a new multi-million pound hypercar at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car will be powered by a Mercedes F1 engine which will deliver over 1,000 horsepower and feature a hybrid-electric system.
This means Project One will have the same 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engine used by the 2016 F1 race car, which won both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ World Championships, driven by Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. It will have the same 11,000rpm rev limiter and almost same in gear power delivery.
How many Malaysians will be on the buyers list you think?
